Channel 5 have announced they will be broadcasting Lady Gaga's Muppets Christmas Special in the UK.
In news that is sure to delight our nation's legions of Little Monsters, the 90 minute special will be shown on a TBC date in December, and will feature appearances from Elton John, RuPaul and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Gaga will also be collaborating with Kermit the Frog, and the Muppet cast themselves will be performing 'Deck the Halls' and 'Jingle Bells'.
"I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year," said the 'Applause' singer in a statement. "I knew it just wouldn't be a complete night of laughter and memories without The Muppets! Can't wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss Piggy's still not mad about Kermit. We're just friends!"

Gaga recently took to the stage at the AMAs on Sunday (November 24), to perform her R Kelly duet 'Do What U Want', playing secretary to R Kelly's Mr President. However, the singer was quick to deny the performance was based on the relationship between Marilyn Monroe and JFK, saying: "It’s really more just about any kind of scandal."
"I mean, there’s been lots of scandals in the White House, but you know, there’s scandals everywhere else — in pop culture and celebrity life — so I was doing sort of a comment about that."
