Lily Allen and One Direction are currently battling it out at the top of UK singles chart to claim this week's No.1.
Lily Allen's cover of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know' continues to stay as the leading single in the midweek chart, followed closely behind by One Direction's 'Story Of My Life' climbing from No.3 to No.2. A fitting number for the song.
That means that former No.1 'Under Control' by Calvin Harris, Alesso and Hurts has dropped to No.3 whilst Bastille's 'Of The Night' slips to No.4 and Gary Barlow comes in at No.5 with 'Let Me Go'.

Meanwhile, One Direction are also well on their way to keeping their No.1 album spot with third studio album Midnight Memories. Merry Christmas, bah humbug.
But elsewhere on the album charts, Robbie Williams hits the No.2 spot with Swings Both Ways, whilst Gary Barlow is at No.3 with Since I Saw You Last. Surprisingly, Il Divo have come in with the highest new entry at No.4 with A Musical Affair while Olly Murs's completes the top five with Right Place Right Time. All in all, it's pretty depressing.
