It seems that Kanye West's Yeezus tour may be in more trouble than previously thought, after he played a poorly attended show in Kansas earlier this week - with around only a quarter of the venue full.
The Yeezus tour has been met with a great deal of trouble, including broken stage equipment, cancellations, rescheduling and claims of racism amid controversial merchandising. Not to mention the furore he's caused with ridiculous and OTT interviews in the interim.
Now, KansasCity.com reports that just 4,500 fans attended his show at the Spirit Centre on Tuesday 3 December - a venue with a capacity of 19,252
"The most shocking aspect of Kanye West's spectacular concert Tuesday night at the Sprint Center wasn't another suspect remark from the brash rapper," they said. "The meager attendance of less than 4,500 seemed inconceivably small for one of the most vital artists in popular music."

Meanwhile, Yeezy is facing backlash for comments in an interview made last month where he claimed that 'black people don't have the same connections as Jewish people, or oil people'.
West appeared on US radio station Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club to go head to head with DJ Charlamagne, who has been openly critical of Kanye's recent creative output, as well as accusing him of setting up paparazzi shots and being a "walking contradiction" for working with the same corporations he criticises.
Referring to companies such as Nike, West said: "These industries run the world. We’re only allowed to communicate. It’s a form of cotton we’re all picking. Ain’t none of us this free. Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people, or oil people."
