More about: Kings of Leon
Kings Of Leon have announced a 2014 summer gig at Milton Keynes Bowl - with tickets going on sale on Friday, 13 December.
The band will perform the huge show on 22 June 2014, and while we wouldn't want to start any rumours here, it should be noted that this is just a few days before next year's Glastonbury festival 2014 kicks off (Wednesday 26 June). Just saying...
Kings Of Leon this year headlined a number of huge UK and European festivals including V Festival and Optimus Alive in Portugal. Their 2013 album Mechanical Bull was seen by many as a return to form, and met with critical praise when it was released earlier this year.
The band recently hit out at pop gigs, with Matthew Followill claiming that he find them similar to 'the end of the world'.
"Some pop shows I watch, it feels like the end of the world, it's fucking awful," says guitarist Matthew Followill in a recent interview with the Sydney Morning Herald. "It's not even music any more.
"You would never want your children to watch [shows like that] and I can't believe that younger kids, even teenagers are watching that stuff. It almost seems to be making the world a bad place."
Tickets for Kings Of Leon's summer 2014 show at the Milton Keynes Bowl go on sale at 9am on 13 December 2013. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
