Lady Gaga has spoken of her love for “Alien prince” David Bowie, but admitted that she is still yet to meet him.
The singer, whose admiration for Bowie led her to recreate his lightning bolt make-up early in her career, spoke of her idol in an interview with Alan Carr.
"You know I’m such a big fan that it’s kind of this weird amazing thing that I haven’t met him yet” said Gaga, whose appearance on Carr’s Chatty Man airs tonight (6 December).
“He’s sort of like an alien prince” she continued, “He still runs my universe as well… Every morning I wake up and I think, ‘What would Bowie do?’”
“I’ve always thought life’s too short to wear one hat, and I don’t know if it makes me crazy or not, but it’s just the way the fucking cookie crumbles in my house.” Well, Bowie is famous for wearing multiple hats…
