Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' single has been revealed as the biggest selling single of the year. Which is bad news for everyone, everywhere.
The offensive track has been banned from universities across the UK and sparked huge outrage and debate over its offensive lyrics throughout the year - but that hasn't stopped people buying the track in their tens of thousands. The track has sold 1.44million copies in the UK alone during 2013, easily topping Daft Punk's comeback track 'Get Lucky', which has sold 1.28million this year.
Avicii's 'Wake Me Up' is the third biggest-selling, 'Let Me Go' by Passenger is fourth and Naughty Boy's chart topper 'La La La' is the fifth biggest selling.
