10 December, 2013: Beyonce has announced a 2014 UK arena tour in February and March of 2014. That's fine, but what is she going to perform? Loads of songs from her old albums - again? She needs a new album and fast, but all we hear is leaks and rumours with no actual confirmation of any new music.
Indeed, even Rob Stringer, the chairman of Columbia records, has no idea when her new album is due for release, but surely not even Beyonce could be planning to hit the road again with no new music?
And of course, she's not the only star who is keeping us waiting with their new projects. We know Blur have been in the studio - but where are the fruits of that project? Sure, the Freddie Mercury biopic now has a leading man in Skyfall actor Ben Whishaw, but any more than that? We're all in the dark.
So, as Beyonce announces new UK shows, we look at her supposed new album and more music projects that are taking an absolute age to come to light...
