Live Session: Shlomo covers Blackstreet's 'No Diggity'

Beatboxing artist performs R&B mash-up exclusively for Gigwise

Shlomo begain beatboxing back in 2002, when he won a pot of jam at a London beatboxing tournament. Though it would be hard for anyone to top those dizzying heights, Shlomo managed it, going on to collaborate with Bjork on her all vocal song 'Oceania.' It was this that pushed him to ask "How can I take beatboxing further than just 'check out my party trick?'" Almost ten years on, Shlomo has toured the UK, appeared on the Radio 1 Rap Show, and taken to the stage at Glastonbury and Latitude festival.

In this session, Shlomo performs a cover of Blackstreet's 'No Diggity', travelling through the song it samples - Bill Withers' 'Grandma's Hands.' It's explosive stuff.
