Rufus Wainwright has announced a UK tour for 2014. Dates and tickets details are below.
The American singer songwriter, who this week announced that he is to release a 'Best Of' compilation album titled Vibrate, will travel across Europe from 4 March to 10 April 2014. The tour will see Wainwright visiting Dublin and Edinburgh before travelling through mainland Europe. He will return to the UK though in April, hitting London on 6 April. Hallelujah.
Vibrate will be released on 3 March 2014, and will play homage to his impressive back catalogue since his self-title debut in 1998 featuring all of his best known tracks including his 'Hallelujah' cover version, 'The Art Teacher', 'Going To Town' and 'Cigarettes And Chocolate Milk'. Wainwright has also co-written a bonus track with Guy Chambers called 'Me And Liza' to feature on the album. On top of all that, there will be a 16 track bonus disc of live recordings of his best known as well as previously unreleased tracks recorded at Kenwood House in 2010.
