A judge has now finalised the lengthy and dramatic divorce between Jack White and British model and singer Karen Elson.
It has now been revealed that court records in Nashville, Tennesse, show that the final divorce was agreed and signed on 26 November, 2013.
They agreed that Elson will be the primary residential parent for the couple's two children, and White will get about 150 days per year with them. Meanwhile, White retains rights to all his musical businesses, including The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Dead Weather and label, Third Man Records
While the separation began amicably, divorce proceedings soon turned bitter when Elsen obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband - accusing White of 'bullying' and 'harassment'. White later denied rejected the order.
The former couple split in 2011. Elson is also a singer-songwriter, guitarist and actress. She met White when she starred in the music video for The White Stripes' single 'Blue Orchid'. They married shortly after.
