Kings of Leon have announced a stadium show in Newcastle in addition to the three already scheduled for summer 2014.
The band, who had previously announced dates in Sheffield, Manchester and Milton Keynes, will perform at the 50,000 capacity Newcastle United stadium St James' Park on Saturday, 31 May.
Tickets for the show go on sale next Thursday (19 December), whilst their other 3 shows went on sale this morning (13 December, 2013).
The band's decision to tour the UK so close to Glastonbury has sparked rumours that the band may be set to headline the festival this year.
Lead guitarist Matthew Followill recently described some pop gigs as "like the end of the world... fucking awful." Let's hope they can show them how it's done.
