Beyonce has performed new song 'XO' live for the first time, following the track's appearance on her 'surprise' album, released on 13 December, 2013. See the video below.
The US superstar was performing a live show at Chicago's United Centre as part of her Mrs Carter Show World Tour on the day of her new album's release, when she added the new track to her setlist. Introducing the track to her audience, the singer said: "I'm gonna sing this song, which is a brand new song. It hasn't even been out for 24 hours. I want to sing this to y'all because it was written for y'all.
"This is the first time. Something I'll never forget."
'XO' is among the 14 new tracks taken from her brand new, self-titled album and was written and produced by Beyonce and OneRepublic star Ryan Tedder. The Beyonce album is currently available exclusively on iTunes and reportedly sold 80,000 copies in less than three hours after release in America.
