OFCOM have ruked that Lady Gaga's controversial and raunchy X Factor performance didn't break TV broadcasting rules after, despite receiving hundreds of complaints.

The moment in question was a pre-watershed performance of the best track of Gaga's album 'Do What U Want'. The complaints concerned the overt sexuality of the performance demonstrated by the dancers and Gaga's penchant for trick nudity in the form of flesh coloured underwear. A total of 317 complaints were made directly to OFCOM and 60 were made directly to ITV following the performance on October 27, 2013.

Howeve,r the Guardian has now reported that the performance in question simply doesn't warrent any further investigation. So there you go, next time maybe find something better to do with your time.

 "We do not believe Lady Gaga's performance was inappropriate for the family audience of the X Factor Results show, which has an established tradition of featuring performances from the biggest music stars," stated an ITV source at the time. "Lady Gaga is well known for her highly individual performance style."
