Adele picked up her MBE for services to the music industry this week, a moment she described as "very posh indeed". Rightly so.
The singer was awarded the title by Prince Charles, and said in a statement "It was an honour to be recognised and a very proud moment to be awarded alongside such wonderful and inspriational people. Very posh indeed."
It's been a big awards year for Adele, as the singer won her ninth Grammy in February and was awarded an Oscar for 'Skyfall' in the same month.
Clearly humbled and overwhelmed by the situation, Adele's famous bubbly charisma shone through as she giggled and blushed her way through proceedings.

The MBE is one of the Queen's highest honours - one of the many for Adele to add to her collection after her 2011 album 21 sold 28 million copies worldwide and has gone platinum 16 times in the UK. Earlier this week, it was named Amazon’s top selling CD of all time.
Both Adele and PJ Harvey are said to be working on new material, which will hopefully see the light of day in 2014.
