As if the ridicule over the Kim Kardashian-starring video for 'Bound 2' wasn't enough, Kanye West has now reportedly been sued for using a vocal sample on the track without permission.
The 'Black Skinhead' superstar has been issued with a lawsuit by Ricky Spicer, who sang with The Ponderosa Twins Plus One - whose track 'Bound' was sampled on the standout track from West's 2013 album, Yeezus. However, Spicer claims his vocals were used without permission, and has begun legal proceedings against the rapper.
The lawsuit is against West, as well as three others involved in the track and Roc-A-Fella records.
'Bound 2' samples not only The Ponderosa Twins Plus One, but Brenda Lee's 'Sweet Nothin's' and 'Wee's 'Aeroplane (Reprise)'.
West gave the world some of the biggest lols of the year when he released the video for 'Bound 2' in November 2013, showing the rapper and his socialite girlfriend, Kim Kardashian larking around on a motorbike in front of a poor CGI green-screen. It was supposed to be sexy, it wasn't, and James Franco and Seth Rogen's spoof was more erotic than the original.
