Despite the huge success of their recent album 13, Black Sabbath are uncertain about future music, as they feel their career was 'nicely rounded off' with their 2013 chart topper.

13 was released in June of this year, 18 years after their previous release, Forbidden, in 1995. The album topped the charts across the globe, including the UK and US, and it is this success that has left the band uncertain of a follow-up.

"To me, it's been nicely rounded off now. If we did another album, it just wouldn't have the same vibe as far as I'm concerned," Geezer Butler tells Classic Rock magazine. "And with this one doing so well, the next one would have to be number one everywhere too or people would see it as a failure."

Ozzy Osbourne echoed Butler's concerns, adding: "We'll see what happens. We made promises about another album 15 or 20 years ago and it took this long for it to come out. I don't think you'll see another one in 20 years, put it that way."

"Making '13' was such a great, memorable experience, so if that's the final chapter, we'd have to be happy," says Tony Iommi.

"We've not spoken about [another album]. I don't know if it would be the right thing to do. God knows what the expectations would be next time around... I'd probably have a heart attack worrying about it!"

However, Black Sabbath are far from over, after a recent tour and rumours of a return to the UK festival scene in 2014.
