Prince has offered refunds to fans after he was met with boos after failing to perform at an exclusive party.
The superstar was due to perform at the £100 a head early morning party in Connecticut on 30 December, but instead only appeared in a DJ booth for one spin of his latest single. His band, The New Power Generation played a short, 20 minute show at the event, again disappointing fans. Attendees at the disappointing event have now been offered refunds after making their disappointment evident at the flop show.
Reports from the US state that fans booed loudly when they released the show has finished early, and the Purple One would not return to perform.
The aftershow party came after performing three successive nights at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, which closed with performances from Doug E. Fresh and Janelle Monae at the end of Sunday 29 December - ahead of the early morning event.
