An A$AP Rocky fan who plunged nearly twenty feet from a lighting rig during the rapper's New Year's Eve set at an Australian festival is recovering in hospital from "serious" injuries. Check out the stomach-churning footage of the incident below.
The video clip shows the man dangling from a lighting truss in front of the stage as Harlem rapper Rocky pleads with the fan to be safe, saying: "Come on man, be careful...somebody help this kid before he kills himself."
Inevitably, the unidentified punter tumbles nearly 20 feet to the ground to the horror of the crowd and Rocky himself, who rushes to the fan's side to check if he's okay, before launching into 'Fuckin' Problems' to finish off his set. The incident occured at Perth's Origin festival.

A representative for Origin festival has since claimed the fan slipped past security before climbing scaffolding that led onto the lighting rig, and a space was cleared in the crowd below the daredevil to ensure nobody else would get hurt. The West Australian reports the man's injuries are "serious but not life threatening".
