Josh Homme and Jay Z have met up to discuss the security drama that created tension between the two last year at the rapper's Made in America festival.
The issue arose when a member of Jay Z's security asked to search the Queens of the Stone Age's bag when he was entering the festival. Homme took offence to this and questioned the amount of security that Jay Z chose to surround himself with, almost pulling out of performing just hours before his performance.
"That guy's a kook, you know," he told CBC Radio 2 in Canada after the event. "He has his security frisking the bands on the way in... I just told (the security guard) 'If you open up my bag, then we're not playing, so I guess it's up to you now to decide whether I'm playing or not...' You shouldn't frisk my guys, you should f**k off."
However it looks like the pair have now put the episode behind them. "We had a conversation," Homme told Rolling Stone, "I think we saw each other's point of view pretty clear. In fact, he told me his own family had a problem with security."
