Producer Baauer has revealed Azealia Banks is just as much of a "scary person" face to face as she is behind a computer screen following an awkward run in between the feuding pair in a restaurant.
The DJ and rapper came to blows when Banks jumped on Baauer's meme launching viral hit 'Harlem Shake', releasing a rap version of the track online. Baauer, real name Harry Rodrigues, wasn't best pleased, asking the '212' rapper to take it down. Unfortunately for Baauer, it's Azealia Banks, so naturally he had a fight on his hands.
Baauer eventually had Banks' version of the track removed from Soundcloud, prompting Banks to dub him a "faggot" on Twitter. Now, Baauer has told theMusic.com.au that the enemies have actually since met in person, but didn't exactly kiss and make up.
"We actually randomly met in a restaurant in Miami, completely randomly, but I'll say there was definitely no resolution," Rodrigues reveals. "She looked at me and said, ‘What’s up, funny man?'".
"I'll tell you what - she was scary. She's a scary person," the producer said of their encounter, which he also described as "brief" but "polite".
