50 Cent is being sued for digitally editing himself into Rick Ross' ex-girlfriend's sex tape and publishing it online.
In possibly the most bizarre story of 2014 so far (we know we're only 3 days in but still...), it's emerged the 'Candy Shop' hitmaker edited himself into a sex tape featuring Rick Ross' ex-girlfriend Lastonia Leviston and her new squeeze, Maurice Murray.
It's reported Murray then sold the sex tape, which was filmed back in 2008, to 50 (bad move) who promptly added in footage of him dressed as a character called 'Pimpin' Curly', providing a "director's commentary" to accompany the existing explicit bits - and then uploaded it online to www.thisis50.com, where it got over 3 million hits.
Now, Leviston is suing for emotional distress, despite 50's failed attempts to have the lawsuit thrown out of court. Leviston claims she has been suffering from "suicidal thoughts" since the footage was made public. In the video, 50 even refers to Leviston as a "call girl", and whilst Murray's face is blurred, Leviston's is not.
50 Cent claims he made the video because Leviston's ex, 'Hustlin'' star Rick Ross, was "disrespecting" him. The pair's feud began in 2009, when Ross accused 50 of looking at him in a funny way at the BET Awards (yes, really). Disses have since flown back and forth between the two ever since.
