Former Oasis guitarist Bonehead has spoken out again about the chances of the band reuniting, saying that Liam Gallagher would 'jump' at the chance to do so.

Bonehead, otherwise known as Paul Arthurs, left Oasis in 1999, but was asked to step in for Beady Eye guitarist Gem Archer who is currently recovering from a fractured skull, for a one-off performance at The Charlatans' tribute concert for late drummer Jon Brookes last year.

Speaking to NME this week, Bonehead said that while there was "no talk about a reunion," he still had faith that it could happen.

"If someone said, 'Here's a field, here's a stage, and here's 200,000 people', I'm sure Liam would jump up and do it, and I don't think it would even take anyone offering him a massive bankroll of money. He'd do it because that's what he loves, that's his passion," said Bonehead.

The rumours never end. Not only has Creation boss Alan McGee spoken out about the chances, but last month the brother of Noel and Liam Gallagher opened up about the chances of a potential Oasis reunion in years to come. Paul Gallagher was talking in a new documentary for Irish TV, when he said: "I think they've got unfinished business. I think Noel regrets walking out the way he did. Liam was always going to carry on and do his own thing. I've got a funny feeling something might happen in the future, in two years' time, maybe three."

However, when about Oasis reuniting to mark the 20th anniversary of Definitely Maybe this year, Noel replied: "We are split up. You’ve heard that, haven’t you. You must’ve heard. I did hear that, yeah."

He continued: "Yeah, so, ergo, band splits up, band is no more. There is no band. So, no, I won’t be getting involved, anyway. If there is a reunion, I won’t be in it."
