Rihanna is back in the studio working on her eighth album, one of her producers has confirmed.
DJ Mustard has revealed he has been in the studio with the 'We Found Love' star, and claims that at least one of the tracks he has worked on with the star will appear on her next, as-yet-untitled, album.
"I'm finally going in with Rihanna," the producer told website Hiphop-N-More, adding that there was no style or sound for the album as yet, stating that the pair would 'figure it out' as they go.
"I’m just doing what I think she would like, and if she don’t like it we’ll just figure out something else in the studio, and I’ll just keep making beats ’till she figure it out. But she’s gonna get one."
DJ Mustard has previously worked with the likes of Young Jeezy, B.O.B, Meek Mill and Bow Wow on previous records, hinting at a more urban sound for Rihanna's next album. Contributors on Rihanna's Apologetic included big names such as David Guetta, Sia and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Fellow US superstar Katy Perry recently revealed that she was planning a duet with Rihanna in the near future, after years of speculation.
"We've actually been talking about it for years, so we can't let anyone down," said Perry in an interview with Los Angeles radio station 102.7 KIIS FM. "We have to do the best song ever. Beyond that, I think we'll definitely get around to it and when it happens, you are going to know."
