Yes the bidding war is now over, as house DJ MK's unwashed towel has sold on eBay for £10,100.
The bizarre auction item was posted by Chloe Maccormack with a total of 7 bidders laying down substantial amounts of money to snap up the sweaty piece of house music memorabilia.
The item, which is apprently 100% authentic, was procured by Chloe after an event promoted by Arcanum Events at The Cuban in Canterbury that hosted MK (real name Marc Kinchen).
MacCormack reportly teased MK about posting the item for auction and he knows about the amount it has sold for and is understandably amused. Maccormack has promised that half of the proceedings for this sodden piece of memorabilia will be donated to charity. So the weirdness has been for a good cause.
