Justin Bieber may be one of the world's biggest music stars, but his career has hit a major stumbling block, with his most recent album, Journals, missing the UK Top 40 and becoming the lowest charting release of his career.
Poor old Bieber, looks like all the horror of the past year is coming back to haunt him, as his film has flopped at the box office (taking 3.1 million) and now his new album Journals has failed to break the Top 40. This comes in comparison to his last offering, Believe, which shot straight to No.1 in multiple territories back in 2012.
The album is compilated from his series of #MusicMondays releases where ironically he released music on a Monday and attempted to break out of the genre boundaries and release shedules. However as it stands in the UK charts the album is sitting at No.46, with peak position reached in Australia at 36, 64 in Ireland, 38 in Italy and 174 in France.

While the album hasn't necessarily had a traditional release in the sense of Believe as it has only been released digitally, it nevertheless points to the fact that Justin's stake in the music world appears to be diminishing fairly rapidly.
All this follows on from numerous statements that he was quitting music, which were later denied by the star's management.
