Both Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus have had music videos pulled from French daytime television after a watchdog ruling.
It looks like even the liberal European approach of the French isn't lax enough to deal with the overtly sexual themes presented in music videos from Cyrus and Spears. The serial offenders have had their music videos pulled from channels after it was revealed that they were being played during the day with no mature content warning.
Obviously the sight of a naked Miley licking objects and writhing around naked isn't for children to have a gander at, neither is Britney unleashing an airbrushed S&M nightmare. As such, French watchdog CSA have banned both 'Work Bitch' and 'Wrecking Ball' from being broadcast before 10pm when the watershed allows more mature programming to be broadcast.

A rather comedic statement from the French watchdog refers to Britney's 'Work Bitch' video as "a sadomachistic universe representing women in a way that risks shocking many viewers."Can't really fault that when it comes definitions.
The French authorities follow on from British censors who have also inhibited the same videos from broadcasting before 10pm. With channels such as the Box and MTV requesting clean versions to broadcast during the day.
