Despite constant denials by Noel Gallagher, former Creation label boss Alan McGee is confident that the band will reunite to mark their 25th anniversary in 2016.

McGee has previously, repeatedly stated that he believes that an Oasis reunion will happen, and now believes the anniversary of forming the iconic Britpop band will be the time for the feuding brothers to put aside their differences and give into fan demand for a comeback.

"Liam and Noel have got to do it. I think we'll have to wait for the 25th anniversary in a couple of years," McGee tells The Mirror. "They're brothers. You can never predict how things work out."

McGee also recalled the Gallagher brothers' drug excess in their heyday, revealing how album recordings were fuelled by drugs.

"Hanging out with Oasis was exhausting," he added. "I'd go from one night with Liam and Noel to a night out with Primal Scream. I'd be down in Wales with Oasis recording the album, doing drugs every night. They'd arrive in London and I'd go on another two-dayer with them."

McGee previously spoke of an Oasis reunion in a 2013 interview with the BBC, saying they would reunite for money.

"Yeah, I think they'll come back at some point," he said. "I don't think it's going to be next year or anything. If they get back together I'm sure it would be for a mega bucks tour."
