In an interview with Gigwise bassist Ed Nash and Jack Steadman made it clear that the songwriting and the audience are their priority when it came to the formulation of their new album. "Chart success is what it is, it doesn't really matter to us. I think the pressure is making a good album that people will like and our fans will appreciate."
However, this may sometimes leave them at odds with the label as Steadman reveals that the band aren't keen on overt marketing. "We set down a lot of guidelines which probably hinder it because we don't like intrusive advertising and we don't like force-feeding our music down peoples' mouths. So there's a battle going on there between us and the label probably."
The new album 'So Long See You Tomorrow' is out on February 3 and it's pretty bloody good.
