Outkast have announced plans to play a massive 40 festival shows in 2014, with their recently announced show at Coachella their first big performance of the year.
At least one of that number has to be in the UK, right?
The band caused huge excitement this month when they were confirmed as headliners at this year's Coachella Festival, alongside Muse and Arcade Fire. Now, after announcing a second show at the Governers Ball later in 2014, the duo, Andre 3000 and Big Boi, will perform a huge number of shows to mark their 20 year anniversary.
"Outkast will return to the stage with a full festival run of over 40 dates to celebrate 20 years," said a post on the band's official Twitter feed, with Andre 3000 adding: "Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for 20 years of supporting Outkast."
Big Boi also gave smelly thanks to fans, saying: "I'm looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans - stank you smelly much, this is for y'all!"
Could Outkast be announced for Glastonbury next, or could they have another major UK festival in mind?
