Since its surprise release in December, Beyonce's new album, which includes 17 music videos, has sold nearly 1.5 million copies. But apparently, along with leather jogging pants, electricity, and the wheel, Kanye West had the idea first.
According to US website Radar Online, West wanted to do a visual album for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, but was advised against it. Instead, he opted to do one long movie to go with it, the 35 minute short film 'Runaway.'

According to a Radar 'insider', "Kanye is feeling really defeated over Beyonce's album doing so well."
"He's kind of annoyed, but he doesn't want to talk about how he came up with the idea first because of how he got slammed for saying he invented leather jogging pants a few years ago."
West's most recent album 'Yeezus' reached number 1 in the UK and in the US, where it was also certified gold.
