Arctic Monkeys were named Headliner of the Year at last night's European Festival Awards (January 15).
Alex Turner and co recieved the accolade after appearing at a plethora of festivals in the summer of 2013 in support of fifth album AM. The Sheffield four piece headlined Glastonbury, Poland's Open'er festival and Southside Festival in Germany as well as making appearances at Spain's Benicassim and Hultsfred Festival in Sweden.
