Bombay Bicycle Club: 'Glastonbury - the time of our lives but terrible shows'

Speaking to Gigwise the band remained rather aloof when it came to confirming whether or not they'd be at the festival this year. While bassist Ed Nash, remained fairly coy about festival prospects he said that plans for the season were "shaping up" and that the band all wanted to play Glastonbury and were hoping that the booking "came through".

Moving onto explain why they wish to play the festival this year he went onto say that they had the time of their lives when they first played Glastonbury. They also stated that they were rather "unproffessional" due to all the going out that the band did over the course of the weekend.

"The first time we played Glastonbury we went for the whole weekend," says Nash, "I think we played three or four shows in the weekend and in hindsight they were probably terrible shows. We were tired out and we'd been going out.

"That weekend as a whole is one of my fondest memories, to be able to go as a band and do that. It wasn't very proffesional either, bit of a shit show."
