Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood and The National's Bryce Dessner have announced plans to release a split classical album.
The LP, which has been given the wordy title of St. Carolyn by the Sea/Suite From There Will Be Blood, will feature three classical pieces by Dessner alongside Greenwood's 'There Will Be Blood' score.
The decision to put the two artists' work on one album was made because they share "quintessentially American themes such as the vast expanse of the country's landscape, or a sense of nostalgic longing" according to a press release.

The album, which will be accompanied by live performances of St. Carolyn by the Sea in New York and Cincinnati, will be released on 3 March.
