The new single from Australian pop superstar and current judge on The Voice UK, Kylie Minogue, has leaked online, but has since been deleted from the Tumblr page which streamed the unauthorised version of the new track.
The track is the first to be taken from her upcoming 11th, as yet untitled album, her first since singing a new record deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation. Fans of her pop sound will be pleased to hear that she has not gone hip hop.
Music news site Consequence Of Sound describes the single as having 'undeniable pop allure' and describes it as 'a dancefloor dream' and quotes lyrics of the chorus, which are as follows: "When I got my back up against the wall, don’t need no one to rescue me/’Cause I ain’t waiting up for no miracle, yeah tonight I’m running free."
Website Idolator praises the song for its "the seismic hook, where Minogue’s crystalline voice soars over an arena-ready dance breakdown."
The track was originally shared on a Spanish Tumblr page but has since been deleted. The track will be the first from her new project since she revealed 'Skirt' in 2013. Listen to 'Skirt' below.
The star is currenty starring on the UK version of talent show The Voice, which launced this year to impressive viewing figures - thanks, in part, to new judges (which also include Kaiser Chiefs' frontman Ricky Wilson) and the show being scheduled earlier in the year to avoid a clash with talent show rival Britain's Got Talent.
