Josh Homme has confirmed that work is well underway on the new album from Eagles Of Death Metal.
Eagles Of Death Metal are a labour of love and side-project of the Queens Of The Stone Age frontman and fellow rocker Jesse Hughes. Now, in a new interview with The Music, Homme said that the band had six tracks penned for their fourth LP.
"We’re just kinda working at a reasonable, sort of casual pace," said Homme. "We’ve got wandering and ambling down to a science."

Meanwhile, Homme has also been busying himself with touring QOTSA's latest album Like Clockwork - and already has news on the record's follow-up. Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Homme said that fans wouldn't have to wait quite so long this time.
When asked if the band were ready to make another album soon, Homme replied: "Absolutely. We have more than enough songs. We're booked until September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going."
He continued: "When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control. You're feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you're not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment."
