Professor Green has discussed how his father's suicide affected him as part of the Radio 1 documentary 'Suicide Survivors.'
The rapper was 24 when his dad took his own life six years ago, and now he has taken part in a Radio 1 documentary to explore what society can do to help reduce the number of suicides.
Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, explained in an interview with BBC's newsbeat ahead of the documentary, "I've been through a whole spectrum of emotions. I was angry, I was upset, I was confused."
The rapper went on to say: "My father wasn't at my wedding, and it wasn't because of some unfortunate accident, it was because of a decision that he made," before suggesting the topic of suicide should be part of the national curriculum.
