Beck has revealed his new single 'Blue Moon', taken from his upcoming album, Morning Phase. Listen below.
Morning Phase is described as a sequel to 2003's Sea of Change in its utilisation of similar songwriting techniques as well as an incorporation of the same musicians that worked on his previous release.
Beck also worked with Jack White on several Morning Phase tracks, including 'Waking Light', 'Blackbird Chain', and 'Country Down'. 'Blue Moon' is a dense acoustic track with extremely layered production giving weight to a melancholic flavour. It's well worth checking out as a warm up for Morning Phase which as yet has no confirmed release date.
