Neil Young has revealed plans to release a new album - A Letter Home - in March.
The album will be released via Jack White's Third Man Records, whose website describes the LP as "an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology," which "captures and unleashes the essence of something that could have been gone forever."

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Young described recording A Letter Home as "one of the lowest-tech experiences I've ever had."
Though it's being distributed on Jack White's record label, Young's Facebook page insists that the duet covers album he was rumoured to be releasing with White is not happening.
The statement reads: "False Rumours: Neil Young and Jack White are not doing a record of duets as has been erroneously posted on various outlets. We are certain those rumours have no basis in truth."
Young released both of his last two albums, Americana and Psychedelic Pill, in 2012. A Letter Home will be his 35th studio album.
