A YouTube user has given an indie twist to the opening credits of gritty HBO series The Wire - by soundtracking it with Haim's 'The Wire', aptly. Check it out below.

YouTube user goodosphere swapped DoMaJae's cover of Tom Waits' 'Way Down In The Hole' with the LA sisters' feel-good indie groove, the end result being The Wire looks more like Degrassi: The Next Generation rather than a dark crime drama with serious social and political themes.

Meanwhile, Haim have revealed their next album will be inspired by Kanye West, with guitarist Alana Haim telling Rolling Stone: "We're always writing and figuring out new vibes and trying to get our inner Kanyes out. We're going to tap into our inner Kanye."
