FIFA and Sony Music have revealed that Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull have been chosen to soundtrack the 2014 World Cup.

The track entitled 'We Are One (Ole Ola)' (sounds great already doesn't it?) will first be performed at the opening ceremony in Brazil on 12 June and also features Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte. It will be premiered ahead of the opening ceremony and will features as the lead track on a World Cup 2014 album published by Sony.

"I grew up in a house that loved football, so I am thrilled to be performing at the World Cup Opening Ceremonies with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte," said Lopez. "This is an amazing celebration of global unity, competition and the sport."

Contendor for worst rapper ever, Pitbull said: "I’m honoured to join Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte at the FIFA World Cup to bring the world together. I truly believe that this great game and the power of music will help unify us, because we are best when we are one."

Leitte also added: “I am very happy and thrilled to represent my country at the FIFA World Cup alongside these two amazing artists who I admire and respect. I love sharing my culture and country to people through music!  The FIFA World Cup is one of the biggest events on the planet, and I look forward to dancing samba with Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez in Brazil - we are one!”
