Following his arrest for alleged drunken drag racing, Justin Bieber has taken to Instagram to compare himself, somewhat perplexingly, to Michael Jackson.
The singer posted a picture of himself sitting on top of an SUV after leaving police custody, alongside one of the late pop superstar Michael Jackson, in which he also has one hand in the air. Uncanny.
Bieber captioned the picture, which has so far received just over a million likes, with "What more can they say."
The singer was reportedly caught participating in a drag race in a rented yellow Lamborghini on Thursday (23 January), where he was arrested and subsequently failed a sobriety test.
The late singer Michael Jackson, who also rose to fame at an early age, was embroiled in a series of child sex abuse court cases, but was subsequently acquitted. It seems as though Bieber was hihglighting parallels between the treatment the two received from the press.
The picture is Justin's first, and currently only, response to his recent arrest.
