Clean Bandit are celebrating after claiming their first UK No.1 single with 'Rather Be' - the highest selling track of the year so far.

Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be', featuring Jess Glynne said they were delighted to top the charts.

"I can’t believe we’re Number 1," said bandmember Grace Chatto to OfficialCharts.com. "Thank you so much to everyone who bought Rather Be."

The band knocked Pharrell's smash-hit 'Happy' from the top spot, while 'Wild Heart' by The Vamps came in at No.3 and 'Braveheart' by Neon Jungle landed at No.4. The top five was completed by 'Timber' by Pitbull and Ke$ha.

Elsewhere, Beyonce is at No.3 with her massive self-titled fifth album, Sophie Ellis-bExtor is the highest placing new entry with Wanderlust at No.4 while Avicii completes the top five with 'True'.

Other noteable new entries include Warpaint who landed at No.9 with their self-titled second album, and Mogwai who finally celebrate their first ever top 10 album with Rave Tapes coming in at No.10.
