The routine saw Perry accompanied by ghosts and ghouls is an attempt to show her edgier side, particularly after the bland chart-topper, 'Roar'. Instead of leopard print, Perry dressed up in witch attire adorned with a red cross, emerging out of a crystal ball and performing a sort of strp tease on a pole shaped like a broom stick.
Juicy J also featured on the performance, himself emerging from a 'Dark Horse' (see what they did there) created by stage hands.
