Azealia Banks embarked on a fresh Twitter outburst yesterday (January 27) - and this time, it's her label, Universal, that came under fire.
The rapper spoke frankly and frustratedly about her regret at signing with the label, admitting she wishes she had signed with Sony - or stayed with XL, the label she spent time on a development deal with, which she once claimed ended when it "turned sour". However, it seems Banks is now wishing she had stuck with XL.
Banks' career has indeed seemed to have turned stale in recent months. Her much-awaited debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, has been pushed back numerous times, although it's now expected to be released in March. "My fans really need some new music," she admitted. Check out her tweets below.
I REALLY should have signed with Sony.

I'm tired of having to consult a group of old white guys about my black girl craft. they don't even know what they're listening for or to.

I'm literally begging to be dropped from Universal.

Universal needs to just hand me over to another label who knows what to do with me.
