Miley Cyrus was joined by Madonna for a special duet during the filming of Cyrus' upcoming MTV Unplugged show, with the duo performing two tracks together for the upcoming TV special.
The age-gap duo teamed up to perform stripped-back version of Cyrus' No.1 hit 'We Can't Stop' and Madonna's 2000 hit, 'Don't Tell Me'. The pair recorded the MTV Unplugged session on Tuesday 28 January, 2014, with Miley Cyrus speaking to her audience of her awe at performing with Madonna during the show.
"That was pretty fucking cool, you guys," Cyrus is reported to have said after Madonna quit the stage. "It sounds super-lame, but as a pop star it's pretty cool performing with Madonna...Today was one of those days that it was really easy to get out of bed."
Miley may have been slightly starstruck by performing with Madonna, but that didn't mean she kept her tongue in her head, letting her wayward bodypart loll out of her head for a photo that Madonna later posted on Instagram. There may be a filter on it.
