London based producers Mount Kimbie have worked their magic on new Kelis single 'Jerk Ribs', which is the first single to be released from her forthcoming album.
Kelis announced her return to music earlier this week after a four-year hiatus, with details of her upcoming sixth album FOOD, which will be released in the UK on April 21st 2014.
Lead single from the album 'Jerk Ribs' was also revealed, but has now found its way into the hands of producers Mount Kimbie. Giving the track a whole new vibe, with smooth and soulful beats that take away from the original track that included some heavy jazz influences.

Kelis has also been announced as one of the headline acts to play this years Great Escape Festival in Brighton alongside Ella Eyre, Chloe Howl and many more.
