The Vamps have been announced as the winners of MTV's' Brand New' award for 2014. The band beat competition from the likes of BRITS Critics' Choice winner Sam Smith, Ella Eyre, Banks and Royal Blood.
The award, which is voted for by the public over a period of a month, has previously been won by Little Boots, Conor Maynard and Justin Bieber. You may have heard of him.
Speaking of the award, band vocalist and dummer Tristan Evans said, "We're very lucky and we feel very humbled and honoured to win such an awesome competition we've been growing up with." The award's only actually existed since 2008... but The Vamps are admittedly quite young.
The Vamps formed in 2012, and have since supported acts including McFly, The Wanted, and Little Mix.
