Reading and Leeds festival organisers announced yesterday (February 3) that Arctic Monkeys will be headlining - and fans seemed more than happy with the announcement.
After the release of their critically acclaimed album AM, their biggest selling record yet, the Sheffield band are hotter than ever, as proved by the overwhelmingly positive response to the announcement they will be topping the bill at the festivals. They last headlined Reading and Leeds in 2009.
As well as Arctic Monkeys, Reading and Leeds also confirmed a new wave of acts performing across the weekend, including The 1975, Warpaint, Pusha T, SBTRKT, You Me At Six, Hozier and more.
Check out some of the most excited responses to the Arctic Monkeys announcement below.

The majority of the reaction was positive, but there were also some unhappy with the announcement:
The Reading line up is a bit disappointing, if you only go to see the arctic monkeys you might as well buy an overpriced ticket for May
