Bastille have continued their trend of raiding pop classics, this time performing a mash-up of Pulp's 'Common People' and Michael Jackson's 'Earth Song'. See the covers below.

The mix was performed on today's (10 February 2014) edition of the Radio 1 Live Lounge. Knowingly performed as a cheeky tribute to Cocker's infamous stage invasion at the Brit Awards in 1996, it is a lot more heavy on the electronic side of things than the band's more recent offerings.

Cocker invaded the stage at the Brit Awards during Michael jackson's extremely over the top performance of 'Earth Song'. He jumped on the side of the stage before waving his behind in the air and making fart gestures.
