Katy Perry has matched Rihanna for most No.1s on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, with both singers amassing 11 top spot-placing hits.
Perry tied Rihanna as her latest single, the Juicy J-featuring 'Dark Horse', rose two places from No 3 to No 1. It is Perry's second chart topper from her most recent album, Prism, whose lead single 'Roar' topped the charts for five weeks in September. Second single 'Unconditionally' failed to make as much of a splash, peaking at No.8.

In terms of most successful Pop Songs chart artists, Katy Perry and Rihanna lead on Pink, who has amassed nine No 1s, whilst Lady Gaga has seven. Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake all jostle for fifth place, with six No.1s each.
